Part of the dynamic leadership team at Prairie Systems, Joel started his career in pig production nearly 20 years ago at a farrow-to-finish swine operation. Born in Nebraska and raised in Iowa, Joel completed his bachelor’s degree in 1999 and went to work as a software developer. In 2001, Joel joined Prairie States Management Company in Emmetsburg, Iowa. While at PSMC, Joel developed real-time information technology that assists in the management of multi-state swine production systems.
